Shannon is an early childhood and primary kaiako with years of teaching and leadership experience across Otago.  Shannon has been involved with He Ao Hou from its inception, and she brings a comprehensive understanding of its vision and values, coupled with hands-on experience in its operational initiatives. In her role as Relationship Manager, Shannon is dedicated to fostering meaningful partnerships in the community and she believes that relationships built on common goals have the power to make positive change.

Shannon has both professional and personal connections to Ōtepoti ki te Raki and is committed to creating a better world for the young people and their whānau who live here.

Outside of work, Shannon has a young family who keep her busy, a recently built home to landscape, and she enjoys playing lawn bowls and reading when a quiet moment pops up.
